The Dresden Family Run 2020 was completely different from all other runs before – because under the motto “Everyone runs for himself, but everyone runs for a goal” Covid-19 conditional – Plan B came into effect this year!

We took part and ran with our families. In total we were able to donate 378 € to UNICEF. The donations from the Family Run 2020 will mainly be used for the worldwide fight against the novel corona virus SARS-CoV-2. The virus has serious consequences not only in Germany: children and families are threatened in many countries. For example, when they live as refugees in an overcrowded camp in Syria or Greece, where it is almost impossible to keep a distance. Or in countries of the Global South, where many people already have no access to clean water and hygiene articles or medical care. The donations received are therefore intended to help prevent an even greater catastrophe.
